You’re piloting a tiny blue plane over a pixelated New York City grid in this 1983 arcade shooter. The screen is crammed with skyscrapers, subway tunnels, and aliens dropping from the sky. Your job is to blast them before they crush buildings. Each stage piles more threats as the aliens multiply and get tougher. Running out of fuel forces you to snag rare refuel drops. Some baddies lay eggs that hatch into ground-based wreckers, forcing you to swap your plane for a handgun in the tunnels. The chaos is nonstop, packing frantic combat and resource management into a single screen. Players have to juggle air and ground threats, with no room for error. Despite its age, it holds up as a test of reflexes and strategy. The Commodore 64 version remains a cult favorite, with pixel-perfect action that feels surprisingly dense for 1983.
