Scary World is a survival shooter where you battle waves of enemies for ten minutes straight. The action is chaotic fast-moving and unpredictable as you dodge projectiles and manage limited resources. Inspired by rhythm-based survival mechanics it leans into tight loops of stress and brief respites. Upgrades and power-ups add layers but the core remains a test of reflexes and positioning. Developed by Keith Burgun Games known for minimalist design the game releases January 2025 on PC. Early builds show a focus on pacing with players noting how each minute feels distinct yet relentless. Single-player only it strips away distractions to deliver pure survival tension. Community playtests suggest the ten-minute runtime is just long enough to frustrate but short enough to replay.
