Realistic tree models and weathered rocks create depth while the persistent gray skies cast long shadows across the terrain. The game's strongest elements are its lighting and sound design which players often note as surprisingly affecting. Developer caves rd used Unreal Engine 4 to create a consistently moody yet serene look that avoids becoming repetitive over its 2-3 hour runtime. While there's no story or interaction beyond basic movement the lack of pressure makes it feel like a digital nature break.
