About

Scoot is a PC-only indie simulator where you ride a physics-driven scooter through customizable parks. Execute spins grinds and flips while building shareable courses or competing with others in multiplayer or co-op modes. The controls emphasize real-world momentum and balance making each trick feel earned through practice. No narrative guides the experience but the focus on raw scooter mechanics aims to appeal to both casual players and those familiar with the sport. Developed by Matt Cole and released in December 2020 the game prioritizes community feedback through its Early Access model. Players have shaped updates since launch with a dedicated player base helping refine the physics and trick system. While it sits in a niche between skateboarding and BMX games Scoot’s tight handling and creative park tools have drawn praise from fans of action sports simulations.

Storyline

The goal of Scoot is to give scooter riders around the world what they've always been wanting ever since the SKATE franchise. There's new skateboarding games, BMX games, and now, finally a scooter action sports game. Staying away from crowd sourcing, having Scoot in Early Access allows for Matt Cole to be engaged with the community and receive feedback on our journey to a the full scooter action sports game that we've all wanted for such a long time.
