Screamer 2 shifts the focus from street racing to muddy rally tracks. You trade in sleek road cars for four rugged rally vehicles. The game uses SVGA graphics to show off slippery roads and scattered obstacles like birds and cows. Solo races or two-player split-screen battles are options. The 1996 release ran on PC DOS and early systems. Tracks span from English countryside to Colombian terrain. The split-screen mode lets you challenge a friend directly. Simple controls and chaotic environments made it a cult favorite. It’s still played on retro platforms today.
