You play a criminal analyst sifting through digital evidence to spot real threats hiding in a quiet town. Using a simulated computer system, you dig through social media, text threads, purchase records, and surveillance photos to decide who’s dangerous and who’s just weird. The catch: killers are targeting you, forcing you to balance investigation with self-preservation. A unique interface lets you interact with files like a real OS, complete with a hacking mini-game where sliding a dial to crack codes adds tactile tension. The game leans into its obsessive detail-checking with 22 achievements spread across demanding milestones. The rarest unlock, "God Gamer," sits at 0.40%, matching the game’s overall difficulty curve. Its strength lies in the claustrophobic blend of data overload and lurking danger, making every click feel like a risk. Players spend more time analyzing than acting, which sets it apart from typical survival horror, here, the threat comes from what you uncover, not just what’s chasing you.
You’re Luna Youngman, a Criminal Analyst for the District Attorneys Office, set on weeding out the villains in your sleepy town while using various applications on your home computer. In this survivor horror you’ll search through a database full of reports to determine what kind of person lurks behind each one. Everything from cell phone images, decades-old police reports, recent purchases, text conversations, social media accounts, and search history is only a click away to help you assess these reports and either mark them as threats or not. You accomplish these tasks while using the simulated computer system in the game, the A.D.O.S system with tools dedicated to help you. One of these tools being the RootKit which is a virtual cell phone cracking tool. Crack into the suspicious person by sliding around a slider to get the right code! Easy to understand but challenging to accomplish.
