Ship of Fools: Aquapocalypse Edition

About

Ship of Fools: Aquapocalypse Edition is a co-op adventure where you and a friend crew a customizable ship to survive oceanic chaos. Blast giant sea creatures, upgrade weapons, and dodge environmental hazards as waves of leviathans attack. The single-player mode lets you tackle the crisis solo, while co-op play emphasizes teamwork for resource management and combat. Each mission mixes action and strategy, with your ship’s layout affecting how you handle incoming threats. The expansion adds two new DLCs with unique challenges and the full soundtrack as a separate purchase. Community feedback highlights the co-op mechanics as the game’s strongest feature, with 78% of players on Switch reporting longer play sessions when teaming up. The aquatic setting feels distinct from other ship-based games, though some note the story beats are straightforward.
