Shooting Gallery is a DOS-era arcade game that puts your aim to the test. Using the mouse you fire through seven progressively tougher rounds each with unique target setups or variations of earlier challenges. The final round called Shootout tasks you with blasting as many enemies as possible before time expires adding a frantic race against the clock. Despite its straightforward setup the game’s difficulty spikes keep things engaging. The 1990 release date means it predates modern reflex-heavy shooters but its simple design and escalating tension still hold up for quick bursts of chaotic fun. Community playthroughs highlight the final round as a particular stressor with many players struggling to top their previous scores.
