Shove It! The Warehouse Game makes you a warehouse worker pushing boxes into tight spots. Your goal is to maneuver crates into marked positions across 160 rooms split into 16 levels. Early puzzles are simple, but later ones trap you in mazes of walls and dead ends. A trace mode lets you replay recent moves when you mess up. Passwords save your progress, letting you tackle levels piece by piece. Success requires patience and spatial reasoning, as some rooms feel nearly impossible until you find the right sequence. The game’s charm lies in its simplicity and escalating challenge. While not graphically flashy by modern standards, the pure puzzle mechanics keep you hooked. The level editor adds replay value, letting you craft custom challenges for friends. Released in 1990, it holds up as a solid early example of the puzzle genre. With no handholding, you learn through trial and error, making each solved puzzle feel earned. The car-and-girl story is a bit cheesy, but the satisfaction of clearing a tough layout speaks for itself.
