Silhouette is a two-player turn-based game where one person plays a trapped victim trying to escape a spooky mansion and the other plays a killer determined to stop them. The victim moves around rooms searching for a key to unlock the exit while avoiding the killer’s line of sight. The killer uses dark corridors and environmental obstacles to corner the victim before they can flee. Each turn forces careful planning as both sides react to each other’s moves. The game’s tight local co-op setup means both players share a single screen and keyboard, creating tense back-and-forth moments. Its simple mechanics focus on positioning and timing rather than complex systems. While the mansion layout stays the same, different strategies emerge with each playthrough. Released in late 2013, it carved a niche for fans of asymmetric multiplayer puzzle games. The lack of online play keeps matches focused on face-to-face competition.
