About

The Shisenshou is a tile-clearing puzzle game where you match pairs of identical shapes by connecting them with a line that doesn't pass through more than two other tiles. Each level gives you a set of tiles arranged in a grid and a time limit to clear them all. The catch is that matches must be made without blocking paths or leaving unconnected pairs behind. Strategy matters as much as speed since later levels layer new obstacles and tighter time constraints. With over 100 levels and a 8.2/10 average from retro gaming sites, this 2001 PlayStation title delivers straightforward yet tricky puzzles. The minimalist design and gradual difficulty curve make it easy to pick up but hard to master. While similar to other match-3 games of the era, its specific path-drawing rules and timer pressure create a distinct challenge that keeps you thinking several moves ahead.
