Sky Chuter is a fast paced shooter where you control a fixed missile launcher under constant attack. Planes emerge from both screen edges diving downward while raining fire and dropping bombs via parachutes. You must destroy incoming aircraft before they reach your position while also intercepting falling explosives. Each round ends when you clear all threats or lose your last life. The game progresses through increasingly complex patterns of enemy movement and attack sequences. What sets Sky Chuter apart is its dual layer of tension. Players face simultaneous threats from aerial assaults and ground bound explosives requiring split second decisions. The 1980 arcade original established a formula that remains mechanically tight despite primitive graphics.
