Slender: Adrift is a first person shooter set in a foggy forest where you’re hunted by a tall, faceless figure. The goal is to collect scattered notes and escape before the entity catches you. You run, hide, and use environmental objects to slow its approach. Sparse audio cues and glitching visuals create a tense atmosphere as you scramble through trees and abandoned campsites. The game’s short development cycle shows in its stripped-down design but the relentless pacing and claustrophobic chases land well. Players report the chase sequences feel familiar but effective, with a runtime that rarely exceeds 15 minutes. While it borrows heavily from Slender: The Eight Shadows, the focus on raw survival mechanics and minimal dialogue keeps it from feeling like a carbon copy.
