You’re stranded on a dying space station after a collision cuts power and systems. Armed only with a flickering flashlight, you hunt for six power nodes to reboot the ship and escape. But something else stalks the dark halls, a faceless, elongated creature that warps the environment and lurks just outside your vision. Every step risks triggering eerie distortions, unsettling noises, or sudden scares. The tension comes from managing limited resources while avoiding direct confrontation, balancing exploration with survival instincts. The game leans heavily into its claustrophobic atmosphere, with audio cues and visual glitches amplifying unease. While short and simple, its mix of environmental puzzles and survival horror mechanics earned it a cult following among fans of tense, low-budget indie experiences. Released in 2013, it remains a niche pick for those craving jump scares and relentless pursuit.
The story of the game starts when a spaceship that's moving closer to the station crashes into it and suddenly all the lights go out. From that moment on your task will be, flashlight in your hand, to try to collect 6 power nodes to be able to escape the station. The problem, as expected in this type of game, is that there's a creature on board of the ship that has no intention of letting you leave. As usual, always when Slender is close, the screen will become strange and you will hear sounds and as always, your only weapon is to run.
