Small Soldiers is a Game Boy platformer where you control Archer, a Gorgonite toy soldier, fighting against the Commando Elite. The game splits into five levels, with the first four requiring pure platforming skill as you avoid enemies without any weapons. The final stage adds a bow that stuns foes and basic puzzles to progress. Levels scroll side to side but branch at junctions, forcing choices that change the path. One stage hides a countdown timer, adding urgency to the platforming. The game’s charm comes from its lean, focused design. Without frills or fancy mechanics, it challenges precise jumps and timing.
