Small Soldiers: Globotech Design Lab lets you build and battle custom toy soldiers inspired by the 1998 film. Choose between two factions, Gorgonites and Commando Elite, then assemble your squad by mixing and matching limbs, weapons, and AI chips. Each part affects how your soldier fights so you can lean into brute strength or clever tactics. Once your team is ready take them into turn-based combat against opponents. The game emphasizes trial and error with no single best build forcing you to adapt as you learn what parts work together. The customization depth remains its strongest feature even if the DOS-era graphics feel dated now. Players who enjoyed tinkering with mech builds or strategy games with unit creation might find it nostalgic. Released in December 1998 it ran on older systems but still managed to pack in hours of replayability through its branching build possibilities. Some community guides note how certain weapon combos can break matches but most appreciate the hands-on approach to squad building.
