Snake Blocks is a puzzle game where you maneuver a snake through grid-based levels by expanding its length and redirecting other snakes. You grow by eating apples but must plan each move carefully as your body occupies more space. The twist comes from nudging rival snakes onto activation tiles which let you take control of them. Each stage requires covering all red tiles to progress forcing you to balance growth with precision placement. Since launching in 2018 the game has gained a steady following for its deceptively simple mechanics that ramp up in complexity. Community reviews highlight how later levels force creative use of multiple snakes working in tandem or against each other. With no multiplayer elements it focuses purely on cerebral challenge making it a compact but satisfying puzzle experience. The PC release remains the only version but the minimalist design translates well to keyboard controls.
