A wobbly blob of gelatin with a death wish. That’s you. Some Jello and a Hard Place is a precision platformer where every jump feels like a high-stakes bet. You control a physics-friendly slime navigating treacherous levels filled with bottomless pits, razor-thin ledges, and hazards that punish even a single stumble. The controls are tight but forgiving, the levels are brutal but fair, and failure is not just expected, it’s inevitable. Solo developer Orin T has a history of crafting punishing challenges that double as masterclasses in reflexes. While community data is still forming, early access builds suggest this is one of those games that’ll make you rage-quit then immediately restart the level. PC and Linux players who crave a test of skill over story will find plenty to despise, and eventually respect.
