Something Bad is on the Moon drops you into a paranoid mystery built from scattered logs and grainy recordings. You piece together the story of Apollo 17's hidden disaster by sifting through corrupted files and cryptic notes left on the lunar surface. The game leans into its found-footage premise making every flickering video or static filled audio clip feel like a clue hiding in plain sight. The real hook is how it twists real space history into something unsettling. With no combat or puzzles to slow it down the tension comes from the gaps between what’s documented and what’s been buried. Developer Matthew Ager released a demo last year that earned praise for its tight pacing and eerie atmosphere. Due July 7th it’s a lean spooky trip that lingers long after you power down.
