Space Armor is a 1984 vertical shooter for the SG-1000 that tasks you with blasting enemies in two directions. One button handles airborne threats while the other targets ground-based hazards. The split-control design adds tension as you juggle simultaneous attacks. Gameplay scrolls upward in a straightforward format with simple visuals and sound effects typical of early 80s arcade conversions. Developed for a short-lived hardware platform but playable on SG-1000 systems, the game has remained a rarity among collectors. Its two-button focus predates the more common dual-stick shooter formula by years. While not widely released beyond Japan, it holds a place in the lineage of shooters that would later define the genre.
