Space Empires V is a grand strategy game where you build and manage a galactic empire. You command fleets in real-time 3D combat using a hexagonal grid for movement while managing resources, research, and diplomacy. The game lets you design ships and vehicles from scratch and test them in tactical battles. You oversee expansions across 100 solar systems with 15 planets each while navigating alliances and rivalries between 14 factions. The game’s depth comes from its massive tech tree with thousands of progression paths and fully customizable vehicles. Mod support and a scriptable AI system let players tweak almost every aspect.
