Space Voyager is a 3D exploration app created by MagicTech Studio that lets you fly through the solar system without leaving your chair. The game uses actual NASA footage so you can tour real places like the International Space Station or zoom past different galaxies. You get to see the surfaces of planets and learn about space zones while moving freely in an open world. It feels less like a rigid educational tool and more like a sandbox where you can just fly around to see what is out there. The project comes from a small two-person team in Chile who are currently raising funds to add landing mechanics and more celestial bodies. Right now the prototype works well for basic navigation, but the developers plan to let you touch down on surfaces and explore comets or asteroids soon. It remains a simple single-player experience focused on showing people what space looks like through real imagery. The community has noted it as a solid starting point for learning, even if the current feature set is still growing.
MagicTech Studio is a little startup located on Chile. At the present is conformed for only two persons, Mauricio Sanhueza , and I, Alex Araya. Our dream is to make interactive 3D content to teach in an entertaining way. Space Voyager is our first project and is in prototype stage. We are convinced we can enhanced it more. and we want to add more features to make it more interesting, but we need funds. The funds will be used to add many features not implemented yet, like: planet landing: we want the user fly and land on the surface of the planets, getting an idea about the atmosphere and the phenomena typical of each planet. more planets and space bodies: we want to add more planets, asteroids, comets, spaceships.
