Spaceplan lets you manage a quirky space program by clicking your way through cosmic experiments. You build and launch oddball potato-based machines from a floating base while figuring out the secrets of your orbiting planet. The gameplay mixes idle clicking with light strategy as you balance resource collection and long-term goals. Each action triggers slow-motion physics antics that escalate into increasingly bizarre celestial events. The game’s charm comes from its deadpan humor and absurd sci-fi scenarios. Developer Jake Hollands blends astrophysics jargon with ridiculous gadget designs creating a weirdly addictive loop. Though released in 2016 it maintains a cult following for its niche mix of education and nonsense. Published by Devolver Digital it runs on most platforms letting you waste hours whether on a PC or phone. The real draw is watching your potato probes cause chain reactions across the galaxy one click at a time.
