Specters puts you in a first-person survival horror role where you hunt down and banish ghosts alone or with a small team of up to four other players. You start as someone who could always sense spirits and now work for an organization dedicated to stopping them. Your main job involves moving through locations, listening to the environment, and using detection tools to figure out what kind of entity is haunting the area. Once you identify the threat, you set up a trap and perform an exorcism to clear the site. The game rewards careful observation and quick thinking over reckless action since making the wrong move can get you killed. What stands out is how the multiplayer aspect changes the tension compared to solo play. You have to coordinate with your friends to handle different tasks while keeping an eye on each other for signs of danger. Storyline

Ever since you were a child you had an innate ability to sense the presence of the paranormal. These specters that haunt the world are identified and exorcised by those of the religious occult as a means of protecting the world from the supernatural. As an adult now, you have joined the organization and now travel the world to different locations identifying and exorcising these beings. Specters is a psychological horror that focuses on paying attention to your surroundings, making quick decisions, and knowing when to not be a risk-taker. Utilize ghost detection hardware, the sounds you hear, and what you see to help determine what you are dealing with. Once you or your team have identified the Specter you are dealing with, prepare the scene for an exorcism by trapping the paranormal and exorcising it.
