About

Spherical is a puzzle platformer where you steer a rolling ball through grid-based levels to reach an endpoint. Instead of direct controls, you reshape the environment by placing or removing blocks to redirect its path. The ball moves automatically once set in motion, forcing you to plan trajectories carefully around hazards. Enemies patrol fixed routes, and scattered bonuses grant invincibility, gravity shifts, or teleportation. Precision matters, every action requires foresight since the ball can’t be stopped mid-roll. The biggest twist is the 20-second countdown before each movement, creating a deliberate pacing that rewards patience. Retro audiences may notice its similarity to early 90s brick-based puzzlers but its slow rollout and strategic depth carve its own niche. Originally released in late 1989, it ran on home computers like the Amiga and Spectrum, offering single or multiplayer modes. Its blend of physics planning and timed execution still feels distinct in short gameplay bursts.
