"Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid isn't some cheap tie into a quarter-century-old franchise – at least not in sense of its core mechanics and gameplay. With a smooth 60fps in all formats on Switch, lots of modes to play through and support for ranked and casual bouts online, it's a decent fighter, even without the licence. However, an ugly yet suitably contemporary approach to content accessibility leaves this game feeling frustratingly spartan to anyone who doesn't invest in a rolling number of ongoing season passes. This seems to be the way all fighting games are going – just look at Dead or Alive 6's awful DLC setup – but it's not a welcome direction."

Spider Riders: Battle for Arachna is a browser-based RPG that builds on the world of the Spider Riders anime. Players craft a character and a customizable spider companion to tackle 15 single-player missions or join others in online matches. Combat mixes dice rolls and card-based strategies in turn-based showdowns. Alignment with one of four mentors gives access to exclusive guilds, where players earn points through timed events and competitions. The game stands out for its hybrid approach to mechanics, balancing luck and planning through dice and deck-building. While the 2007 release date and browser-only setup feel dated, the mentor system and recurring events kept some players engaged with structured progression. Limited modern data exists, but the blend of anime lore and tactical combat still has niche appeal for RPG fans looking for a less crowded browser game.
