Splot is a side-scrolling platformer that mixes retro-style gameplay with responsive modern controls. You control a one-eyed alien racing against time to save baby birds from gooey enemies. Each level requires precise jumps and creative timing as you navigate hazards and outpace the Blobs. The mechanics feel tight despite the game’s silly premise, with momentum and physics adding depth to every dash and leap. The game stands out for its vibrant visuals and satisfying sound design. Its single-player adventure is short but packed with charm, blending playful art with a surprisingly engaging rhythm. Though released in 2014, it still holds up as a polished example of mobile platforming done right. With levels that reward practice and quick reflexes, Splot appeals to fans of old-school challenge without leaning into nostalgia clichés.
You play as Splot, a one-eyed blue alien who has crash landed onto a strange planet along with his adversaries, the Hungry Blobs. Native Baby Birds are in danger of being eaten by the Blobs, and Splot sets out to rescue them.
