You play a lone shooter running nonstop through an alien landscape while fighting off swarms of drones and bizarre alien lifeforms. Movement happens automatically forward so you focus on aiming and firing. Gather credits dropped by defeated enemies to upgrade your weapons which lets you take down tougher waves of attackers. The game keeps pushing you further with increasing difficulty and new enemy types that force you to adapt your loadout on the fly. The frantic pacing and simple yet satisfying loop of earning upgrades then using them against bigger threats makes for addictive short sessions. While the environments repeat after a while the constant stream of new enemy designs and weapon tweaks helps keep things fresh. Most players finish a run in 10-15 minutes but the $9 price tag makes those quick bursts feel worth the cost.
