In Star Climber you construct a ladder section by section as it stretches upward through the atmosphere. Each run has you dodging orbiting satellites that can knock you back down. Your goal is to grab three glowing stars scattered along the climb. Controls are simple but timing matters since one misstep resets your progress. The ladder grows slower as it rises adding tension to every move. This 2007 browser game feels surprisingly modern for its age. It balances minimalism and challenge without leaning on gimmicks. A small but dedicated group still plays it for the tight mechanics and replay value. The lack of frills lets the core loop shine making it easy to pick up but harder to master.
