Star Goose! is a fast paced vertical shooter that drops you into a bizarre alien world. You play as Scouser Gitt a rogue tasked with snatching six glowing gems from each level. Gameplay centers on dodging enemy waves and collecting items while scrolling through increasingly chaotic screens. It balances simple controls with punishing difficulty making it a test of reflexes and patience. The game stands out for its deadpan absurdity and retro charm. The tribal elder's vague orders "I want to get me mitts on them" add a layer of dry humor rarely seen in 80s shooters. Pixel art and chiptune music reinforce its arcade roots. Though it never gained mainstream traction Star Goose! remains a cult curiosity for fans of quirky 80s action. Logotron's DOS Amiga and Atari ST versions preserve the original's chaotic energy intact.

Storyline

The game takes place on the surface of an alien planet. The player's character, called Scouser-Gitt, has been hired by some kind of "tribal elder" to steal six jewels from each level. "I want to get me mitts on them" is all the justification the elder ever gives.
