Star Hunter DX casts you as Luna Starr, a vengeful bounty hunter chasing down her treacherous crew across five alien worlds. You pilot a ship that bends time, letting you slow enemy fire by detonating bombs or shredding foes. Fill your Bullet Time meter to dodge and shoot in real time while the chaos around you grinds to a crawl. The action leans into frantic shootouts, with each level a gauntlet of swarming enemies and shifting hazards. The game’s tight controls and escalating difficulty keep things engaging, especially when tackling optional objectives for full achievement completion. With 32 trophies, the hardest to earn is "Master of the Universe" at just 1.4% unlocked. Players often note the satisfying rhythm of time manipulation, though the short campaign at 8-10 hours means the ride ends quicker than some expect.

Storyline

Outnumbered and outgunned, it's a good thing Luna has an ace up her sleeve: a space fighter craft that can alter the flow of time itself! Power up the Bullet Time gauge by destroying enemies or catching their attacks in a bomb blast, then enter Bullet Time! Enemies and their projectiles will move in slow motion, while you can still fly and shoot at normal speed.
