Star Wars X Wing Collector s CD ROM bundles the original 1994 space combat game with its first two expansions. You fly Rebel starfighters in tactical dogfights against Imperial forces using keyboard and mouse controls. The package adds six exclusive missions plus upgraded audio visuals over prior versions. Campaigns mix mission planning with real time shooting as you juggle weapons shields and thrusters. This release consolidated the base game and Imperial Pursuit B Wing DLC into one disc for Mac and DOS users. While not graphically impressive by modern standards it remains a complete early 90s space sim package. The missions added here are still cited as some of the most balanced in the series by longtime fans. At 28 years old it s a niche title but a crucial entry for collectors of classic Star Wars games.
