"Starship Troopers: Terran Command is most certainly the game of the film. It gives off the same feel like the film and sticks very close to the source material with the use of bugs, the actions of the empire and the tactics of the Mobile Infantry; all that is an unequivocal positive. However, there are a few issues in gameplay. It feels like an older strategy game than it is, lacking some modern sensibilities, limited game modes, and featuring poor pathfinding. Still, despite these issues, it is a genuinely fun and strategic title that fans of the franchise will thoroughly enjoy, and general strategy fans should also enjoy."

About
Starship Command 2 is a tactical simulator where you command a growing fleet of starships in real time. You start as a pilot flying a small shuttle and slowly build up resources through trading or combat. The game runs as a persistent world, so your actions have lasting effects on the environment. It plays like a 4X strategy title but focuses entirely on ship control rather than map management. You customize each vessel to suit your needs before sending them out on missions across the galaxy. The alpha build already offers deep customization options for your ships and AI driven opponents that react dynamically to your tactics. Community feedback suggests the expansion from the original title adds significant depth to fleet management. Players can amass a massive armada without needing multiplayer connections since the focus remains on single player progression. The combat feels tight and requires genuine planning rather than just clicking buttons quickly. This version keeps the core loop of trading and battling intact while adding layers that make late game strategy more engaging.
