Steam Chain puts you in the boots of Fae, a young forger trying to reach the skybound Aero Gear faction to save her sick mother. You navigate a steampunk world filled with gears and danger using a movement system that lets you build platforms and spin on massive cogwheels. The gameplay feels tough, channeling that punishing difficulty seen in games like Super Meat Boy while adding puzzle elements where you must manipulate machinery to progress through levels. Your goal is simple but dangerous: cross enemy lines and free the city of Chrono Steel from oppression. The game shines because it forces you to think while moving fast, blending platforming challenges with mechanical puzzles that require timing and precision. Wild Lynx Studios built a tight single player experience where every level tests your ability to adapt your toolset quickly. Storyline

In a post war scenario, the world is split into two factions. Chrono Steel, who mostly comprise coal miners and forgers, and Aero Gear, who rule from the skies with their iron grasp. Fae, a young forger, suddenly faces the impending sickness of her mother, and the only way to cure her is by getting her hands on a material known as UnderTech, only produced in Aero Gear. Without skipping a beat, Fae gets ready to cross into AeroGear territory, in the vain hope of finding a cure to save her mother.
