"Steel Seed is a remarkable experience, with an engaging protagonist, an impactful setting and versatile gameplay that invites experimentation. The combination of action, stealth and exploration is well executed, and the world-building and emotional narrative easily engage the player. However, technical issues such as occasional bugs and excessive darkness in important parts of the game compromise the immersion and fluidity of the experience, preventing the title from reaching an even higher level. Despite this, the overall work is solid and deserves to be highlighted, especially for those who value games with a strong narrative appeal and dense atmospheres."

SteelGuard lets you command mechs you can tweak and tune. Fight waves of enemies or test your reflexes in one-on-one matches. Toggle between hands-on aiming or let the mech’s automated fire handle the heavy lifting. The game’s rogue-like structure means no two runs are alike. Upgrades and choices carry over but enemy layouts and power-ups change each time. The mix of flexible combat and procedural progression keeps things fresh.
