Stickit is a first-person platformer where you scale vertical environments by sticking to walls and ceilings. The controls are straightforward: jump, stick, and climb your way upward toward the Golden Stick. While the basics are easy to grasp, execution is tough. Each level is a maze of routes requiring precise timing and spatial awareness. Play alone or team up in co-op to tackle challenges together, though falling means starting over from below. What sets Stickit apart is its deceptive simplicity. The lack of complex mechanics forces players to rely on skill and reflexes. Finding shortcuts or alternative paths adds replayability, but one misstep sends you back down. With no hand-holding, it’s a test of persistence. Players who enjoy tight controls and vertical challenges might appreciate its straightforward yet tough design. Since launch, it’s drawn a niche audience, with co-op play encouraging teamwork. The game’s minimalistic approach focuses on pure platforming execution without frills.
Whilst the only way forward is up, the way up isn't always obvious. The level contains multiple routes, and for those technically gifted players you will likely be able to find skips around obstacles entirely. Be careful however, because once you fall and are unable to find your footing on the platforms below you, the only way back up is the very same path you came... But it's simple really, just jump and stick it.
