Stray Sheep: The Adventures of Poe and Merry is a PlayStation adventure game built around a series of interconnected mini-games. You follow Poe, a determined sheep, as he journeys to rescue his friend Merry after she’s kidnapped by wolf goons. The story unfolds through colorful platforming segments and puzzle-based challenges that mix action and humor. Each level leans into slapstick physics and over-the-top character interactions, blending exploration with straightforward goal-driven tasks. The game’s charm comes from its quirky art style and lighthearted tone, which feel pulled directly from the source TV show. While the 1999 release date means the presentation shows its age, the mini-games remain brisk and inventive, offering a mix of timing-based reflex tests and creative problem-solving. Its niche appeal likely resonates most with fans of offbeat anime-inspired adventures, though the simple mechanics keep it accessible.
The game begins when the evil Volcan Wolf got an strange ill and one of his mens tell him that he needs a sheep for the cure, so he send two of his wolfs to kidnapp a sheep for him. Poe and Merry are resting quietly in a forest when the flying ship arrives and kidnapped Merry, so Poe decide to have courage and rescue her.
