Summer in Mara is an adventure where you manage an island, farm crops, craft tools, and set sail to explore new shores. As Koa, you’ll tend to your land, upgrade your boat, and interact with characters across distant islands. The story unfolds as you uncover secrets and respond to the ocean’s mysterious call. The game mixes relaxed simulation with light RPG elements and visual novel-style storytelling. The hand-drawn art style evokes Studio Ghibli’s whimsical charm. While the core loop of farming and exploration feels familiar, the ocean-based progression adds a distinct twist. With 51 achievements, the rarest, earning the "Sea terror" title, has only a 4.30% unlock rate. Players spend roughly 25 hours on average to collect them all, balancing casual play with optional challenges.

Storyline

You're Koa and you'll have to take care of your own island, farming the land and crafting new tools in order to survive. You can also sail away with your boat to new islands, meet unique characters and find sunken treasures. But the ocean called Mara wants you to fulfill your destiny and when it calls you, you'll have to answer.
