As Ranger Machete, you navigate the jungle-clad ruins of Solasta, blending platforming leaps, environmental puzzles, and brawling combat to uncover the cause of the Crimson Sky catastrophe. Each action matters against the clock, let too much time pass and the sun dims, escalating threats and shrinking your chances of stopping the collapse. The game leans into its Aztec-inspired setting with dense environments that mix ancient architecture and overgrown vegetation. Combat feels tight and reactive, balancing melee strikes with strategic puzzle-solving to progress. While solo play keeps the focus on Machete’s personal stakes, the ticking sun mechanic adds persistent tension. No large open worlds here, just focused challenges that test your ability to adapt under pressure.

Storyline

The day of Crimson Sky changed the world for everyone. For several hours, our machines stopped working, monsters began destroying our cities, and the sky turned a blood red, before suddenly stopping without any clear reason. Ranger Machete has been chosen to explore the island of Solasta, ground zero of the Crimson Sky event, and find what caused it, and how to prevent it from happening again! He must be quick, the longer he takes, the sky turns bloodier and the sun begins to fade! Can Machete stop the end of our era and keep his loved ones safe? Or will the world fall to darkness?
