Super Donkey is a lost platformer from Nintendo that never saw a retail release. You control an unnamed aviator who looks a lot like the hero from Sky Skipper. This character runs and jumps through levels without any sound or music in the existing builds. The timer on the screen also does not work, so you cannot track your time properly. Some unused sprites suggest the project might have been linked to the Donkey Kong franchise, but no official connection exists yet. This unfinished game holds a curious place in Nintendo history because it eventually fed into other projects. Developers took various elements from Super Donkey and reused them for Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island later on.
