"Circuit Superstars has a few things that won't sit well with players. The inability to come back after making one mistake can be deflating, especially when it is a result of online play not reacting well to the physics system. Unlockables are limited to cosmetics, so that may dampen the desire for progression, while the inability to save midway through longer circuits discourages those who are short on time. The game remains fun enough that you'll want to master the sensitive handling of each vehicle, and the number of tracks and cars is pretty good for the price. If you're the patient type who has a bunch of likeminded friends who want a challenging racing title, this is worth a shot."

Super Family Circuit is a go kart racing game from 1994 that pits you against AI opponents on a series of wacky obstacle filled tracks. You choose from a handful of vehicles each with slightly different handling and battle it out in single race or multi race events. The controls are straightforward focusing on speed and precision as you navigate hairpin turns and sudden elevation changes. The games charm lies in its colorful chaotic level design that throws everything from moving platforms to unpredictable weather at you. Though it never left Japan the game has developed a small but devoted following among retro racing fans. Its difficulty curve and quirky track elements set it apart from other kart racers of the era. With no online features or modern updates its a pure throwback to 90s arcade style racing. Some players praise its replayability though the single player only mode might not appeal to everyone.
