Super Marisa World is a side-scrolling platformer that swaps Princess Peach for Patchouli Kirisame. You play as Marisa, a red-magician in a world where Gensoukyou has gone rogue. The game leans into classic 2D Mario tropes with level design inspired by Super Mario Land and Bros. 3. You’ll jump, dash, and fight through transformed forests and castles to rescue a trapped Patchouli. Developer DOUBLE CLUSTER layers in Touhou Project characters and magic-based abilities, letting you shoot spells and chain combos against golems and cursed bosses. Storyline

One day at Marisa Kirisame's home in the Forest of Magic of Gensoukyou, a letter arrives there. Not knowing what this is about apart from giving an excuse for violence, it says "Marisa!! Help!! By Patchouli." Marisa took off immediately, but there was something strange as though Gensoukyou has been changed, or bewitched. Walking through the forest, Marisa encounters Rumia wearing a Yoshi suit who says that the "princess" (Patchouli) has been kidnapped. It's then up to Marisa to travel across Gensoukyou to save her.
