Super Team Games turns your living room into a competition arena using the Nintendo Power Pad. To move your character you physically run or jump on the mat translating real world motion into in game actions. You race through obstacle courses race giant balls through mazes or scuttle sideways like a crab toward the finish. Each challenge demands timing and stamina whether dodging water traps or balancing inside a wobbling bubble. The game includes over a dozen different events some focused on speed others on oddball coordination. The physical interface was ahead of its time requiring actual exertion to play. Community archives note its 1988 release made it one of the first fitness based games though the Power Pad's size and cost limited its reach. Standout modes like the six legged race where two players tie legs together showcase early co op design. While not a commercial hit its gimmick remains a nostalgic artifact of Nintendo's experimental mid 80s era.
