Superman: The Man of Steel is a 2D side scrolling action game from 1993. Developed by Craftgold, it runs on the Sega Game Gear and Master System. You play as Superman fighting through levels with basic punches and flight. The game has simple platforming and enemies based on DC characters. It’s a follow up to Sunsoft’s earlier Genesis game but with different level design and controls. This European only release by Virgin has a small following.
