Surf World Series is an arcade-style sports game where you compete in high octane matches across five famous locations like Bell’s Beach and Waimea Bay. The single player mode features 45 challenges letting you string together tricks such as the Superman and Sushi Roll while customizing one of six characters with millions of style options. Online multiplayer lets you battle up to 15 opponents in tournaments testing your ability to ride waves under pressure. The game’s three multiplayer modes shift between day and night conditions adding variety to each session. Released in 2017 it remains a brisk pick up and play option for competitive players on PC PS4 and Xbox One. While not a simulation it delivers fast paced action with a focus on flashy moves and leaderboard climbing.
