About

Suspicious Downpour drops you in a tent during a relentless rainstorm with nothing but a flickering flashlight and your wits. As a camper stranded in Hanawiti Forest, you’ll listen to distant wildlife noises, decipher cryptic warnings about meat, and wonder why the forest feels off. The game thrives on its absurd tone and minimalist setup, blending lighthearted banter with creeping dread. You’ll spend most of the time sitting still, but every creak and rustle amps up the tension. What lingers is the clever contrast between mundane campsite tasks and the slow-burn horror lurking outside your tent. Developer fatherbeno packs a surprising amount of character into a brief runtime, around 45 minutes to an hour, using humor and atmosphere to keep things engaging. The cryptic advice about Mr. Wilson and the forest’s strange rules adds a layer of dark whimsy. It’s not a deep story, but it’s a memorable, if short, detour into the weird.
