About

Sword is a 1997 Amiga game that mixes shooting and platforming. Players run jump and fire through eight distinct levels filled with hazards like enemies spikes and shifting terrain. The machine gun is key but it overheats if used too much forcing careful timing. Each level has its own twist like dark rooms or screens scrolling right or up. Beat four bosses to advance with passwords unlocking progress after each stage. The game stands out for its varied level design especially the winter skiing section. The challenge comes from tight platforming and avoiding deadly traps. Developer Serio-Comic and publisher Titan Computer delivered a tough but fair experience. The password system adds replay value though the 16-bit Amiga visuals might feel dated by today's standards. A relic for retro fans.
