You awaken on a derelict spaceship after a long cryosleep, only to find the crew missing or twisted into horrors. Syndrome casts you in a desperate hunt for survival, balancing stealth and scarcity. Weapons are sparse and ammo rarer, forcing you to pick fights carefully. Much of the game is about listening to the ship’s creaks, timing movements between patrols, and knowing when to duck into shadows. Exploration reveals scattered logs that piece together the crew’s fate, but every corner turned might bring a new threat. Camel 101’s take on survival horror leans hard into tension over action. The 2016 release still holds up for its tight pacing and atmospheric design. With no multiplayer distractions, the focus stays on solitary dread. Its Switch port brings the same claustrophobic chill to handheld play. The ship itself feels like a character, alive with lurking dangers and secrets waiting in the dark.
