System Flaw is a DSi shooter where you hunt invisible enemies using the system's built-in camera. The Flaw are tiny bugs lurking in your surroundings, undetectable without your weapon's scanning tool. You toggle between the camera view and the game screen, tracking their movements on a radar before blasting them. The loop is simple, spot, aim, destroy, but the hardware integration adds a layer of real-world interaction that feels novel for the DSi. The camera mechanic was a bold choice in 2009, setting it apart from other DSi cartridge games. While the concept leans into gimmickry, it works best in short bursts, turning your environment into a hunting ground. Community feedback is limited but highlights the novelty factor over lasting replayability. With a straightforward single-player campaign and minimal polish, it’s a curiosity more than a classic, but DSi collectors might appreciate the hardware-driven experiment.
The Flaw are everywhere! They surround us but are undetectable with human eyes. Using your state of the art weapon you must track these enemies, as they are all around you. It’s a simple process… get them, before they get you. Using the radar, watch for the Flaw all around you and shoot to kill the enemies before they reach you.
