Taisei Project is a vertical-scrolling shooter that piles on waves of enemy fire you must dodge and shoot through. You guide a ship through tight corridors of bullets, relying on quick reflexes and memorizing attack patterns to survive. The game sticks to the "danmaku" formula with tight, repetitive levels designed to test precision. Available on PC, Switch, and other platforms, it’s a free, open-source project with single-player only. The open-source nature means players can tweak levels or add new content, and the community has kept it active since launch. While not as technically dense as some commercial bullet-hell games, it’s a no-cost gateway into the genre.
